The July Special Entrees, such as the Stuffed Rigatoni, are a must-try according to Jennifer. The apple and beet salad, with its perfect balance of savory goat cheese and sweet walnuts, also received high praise from Carol F.

Da Nico's came highly recommended on TikTok, so I decided to check it out. The restaurant is beautiful, impeccably clean, and well-organized. Despite it being a busy night, we were greeted warmly and seated quickly. The food lived up to the hype--I ordered the carbonara, while my friends had the spaghetti and meatballs and rigatoni alla vodka. I tasted everything, and it was all delicious. They also serve complimentary bread and kept our water glasses full throughout the meal. To top it off, they offer a free dessert at the end: a plate of delightful little donuts. I highly recommend Da Nico's, especially if you're a fan of The Sopranos.
ONE OF THE BEST ITALIAN PASTA PLACES EVERR! It can be so overwhelming strolling down Little Italy and deciding which place to eat but Da Nico is a MUST! We were seated after a 5 minute wait outside which was perfect with the light summer breeze. I was concerned it would be too bustling, but it was the perfect seating for my family. Things we ordered (July Special Entrees): - Stuffed Rigatoni (mushroom stuffed rigatoni in vodka sauce topped with melted mozzarella): SO GOOD! It was the perfect amount of cheesiness and the mushroom flavor wasn't too strong (can be a pro or con depending on if you like mushroom flavors haha) - Aragosta Fra Diavolo (1.5 lb lobster shrimp clams mussels served over linguini in a spicy marinara sauce): the STAR of the show!! It was sooo delicious but beware: it's a huge portion so get ready to share it or bring home the extras (which we did not mind). I do not remember the names but we got a few drinks too. I just remember the Lychee Martini was a little too strong for my taste but the flavors were still good. Overall, highly recommend this place; service was efficient, vibes were great, and the food was absolutely delicious!
I came to Da Nico's during a meetup event . There were 18 of us and everything went smoothly . The service was great. I ordered the apple and beet salad which was delicious. The goat cheese and walnuts made it the perfect combination of savory and sweet. I had the gnocchi which was also very good. Everyone enjoyed their food. After dinner we were served fruit trays and zepoles. They were perfect, not greasy, just light and fluffy with the right amount of sugar.
I dream of Da Nico's Linguine Vongole (linguine with clams - with red or white sauce - get the white sauce).
So people like to talk mad 'ish when you say you went to Little Italy for a me. Like it's commercial and blah blah blah. I've traveled the world. Been all over Italy. Da Nico's fettuccine bolognese is divine! Like it's made by someone's little old Italian gramma. Probably the best I've ever had. Don't believe me, try it. The fettuccini is fresh. Not out of a box. Truly incredible. The staff is nice and kinda funny. Makes you feel really comfortable. They have indoor and outdoor seating. I feel like they don't have AC inside so we always take an outdoor seat (as long as it's not winter of course). Anyone who won't eat in Little Italy simply because they feel it's commercial is doing themselves a disservice. Food is killer good!
Sitting outside on a sunny spring day, sipping on an Aperol Spritz in the middle of Little Italy is a great way to spend an afternoon! But we made it better by sharing a salad with perfectly ripe strawberries and yummy Chicken Parmesan. The red sauce was on the sweet side but it was balanced and complimented the chicken perfectly. Service was quick and friendly. You are charged for water without notice but the plate or free zeppolas at the end of our meal more than made up for it.
A beautiful gem in Little Italy. Extremely authentic Italian food and a great spot for lunch/dinner. The seating inside is a little squished, but if you can get a spot outside, it has an adorable vibe. The servers always have a great personality and interact with you to make you feel important. They often crack jokes and make you feel as if you're eating at a restaurant in the real Italy. The prices are decent enough, but it's definitely a place to if you're feeling like you want to treat yourself. It's a perfect place to come with friends and get a bunch of different plates for the table to share. After eating, they also give you a complementary plate of zeppolas as a thank you. No matter how full you are, you'll find yourself eating multiple of these delicious fried treats. Margherita Pizza- 8/10 Spaghetti alla Carbonara- 8/10 Rigatoni alla Vodka- 8/10 Cucumber Salad- 8/10 Zeppolas- 8/10 Cacio e pepe- 9/10
My friends and I went for dinner last night to celebrate a birthday. It was our first time there and we had a really enjoyable experience. The salad with strawberries was very shareable between the three of us, and the strawberries were a good colour despite not being in season. My friends liked their pastas and I had the Truffle Pie but without meat, which they were happy to accommodate. I thought it could have used a little more flavour. The service was excellent! I had noted the birthday in my reservation but expected I'd have to say something but I was delighted to discover they were totally on top of it. The waiter brought dessert (comped, which was very nice), put a firework candle in the Tiramisu (loved that!) and sang. It was a lot of fun, most importantly for the Birthday Boy. The staff made it a really memorable night.
